The Doc Strange eXperiMental Comedy Hypnotist Show what's it all about then? Its about laughs, lots of them. Doc is the Funniest Hypnotist around, and yes he's funny, but the hypnotised volunteers are much funnier. Doc is always laughing with the audience when volunteers do the most hilarious things. An odd looking bloke appears on stage and the audience think " That's got to be him, he looks Mental " Hmm, really! Thanks to the power of Television, most people expect a hypnotist to be wearing an odd suit and have a pointy beard. When they see Doc, well, they are allowed to be surprised (no not disspointed, cheeky!). He is nothing like any HYPNOTIST they have ever seen or expected.
Wearing his trademark Doctors Lab coat and stethoscope (and generally a bemused face) Doc Strange starts the show so that he and the audience can get to know each other, and get in the mood for a very funny night and much of the time the Audience enjoy laughs at his expense. Soon, the audience is comfortable, Doc asks for Volunteers. He takes no time in Hypnotizing them. They are never requested to act in any way that is considered unethical, immoral or dangerous.
You will see volunteers act like they are: World class Formula One Drivers (pictured above) they gain super powers, visit strange new worlds, become famous people, secret agents, or just plain Smelly (pictured) and lots of other daft ideas that make the show one to remember.
If it is in the news, its probably in the show. If it's in his head, it's certainly in the show! " I surprise myself most of the time with the routines I come up with on the spot"
Are all Hypnotists the same? NO, Not ALL Hypnotists are the same, and shame on you for ever thinking that. Some Hypnotic performers may do similar shows and some of them may even perform similar routines, such as Induction Techniques. But each has his/her own style (hopefully) but it's the presentation and the quality of the volunteers that counts the most. Just like there are good and bad comedians, singers, actors, footballers, mechanics, plumbers (whatever) there are good and bad stage hypnotists too. The only way you will ever know if a "Tradesperson" is any good is by Word of Mouth and Seeing with Your Own Eyes.
Doc has a very calm and relaxed way of dealing with his volunteers, and is always considerate towards his volunteers. That's why so many venues ask "The Doc" to come back again and again! Do we need a special stage for him to perform? NO, This hilarious hypnotist show can be performed in most areas, all he needs is at least enough space to swing a cat and enough willing volunteers over the age of 18 prepared to take part in this exhibition of silliness.
How long is the show? The show will suit your needs and be between 1 Hour to 90 minutes of madness. He can provide the PA (Microphone, Speakers, Music) equipment or use yours/DJ's whatever suits.
